KEYWORDS FOR YOUR BLOG

A keyword is simply a word or a phrase we often type when searching for information online. They are very vital to the success of your blog because, they define your blog. Keywords help people from all walks of life to find your blog and visit it.


This blog will take you through the necessary step needed to add keywords to your blog. The steps are broken down into very simple parts. Arrows have been used to help show where exactly to go and what to do.

STEPS IN ADDING KEYWORDS TO YOUR BLOGGER

1.      1. Open your blogger account and select the blog you want to add keywords to.

          

              
              


                  2.    Then select templates from the options on the left side of the page          





  3.  A page showing your current template and others to choose from will                     appear.  Right beneath your chosen template is an option named                                Edit        HTML. Click on it

       




 4. The code for the blog will appear. find the location of the code below

    To easily find the location  
   A.    click in the area on the page the code is 
   B.    hold control F for a search bar to appear on the top right corner of the code                  page





 5.   copy and paste the code below into the search bar that has appeared and                 search

            6. Locate the code



        7.     After it has been located, you now copy and paste the code for the keywords           right beneath the located code

8.   Edit the part in red with your own information

             a.     Describe your blog        b.    Add any word or phrase you want.        c.     Your name (author) or owner



9. Finally, you click on save template and you are done
